Only I don't want it in the traditional place, I wish to have it just before the muffler on the 90deg bend after the axle.
That way the sound and exhaust will still be coming from the rear of the car.

Thing is.........all I can seem to buy is the ones with the straight pipe built in, I would have to chope this part off - seems rather like a waste to buy a premade one.

Are you talking about installing it ZED style? I think there's a couple pics on QTP's site.

 

thats what im doing. im making one from 1/4" thick steel and exhaust pipe. id post pics, but its not done yet. a friend has one like you are talking about as well. he had it custom made at an exhaust shop. ill post pics when its done.
