Radio Controls on Steering wheel...
Radio Controls on Steering wheel...
I just bought this 94 Formula. The radio works fine. The buttons on the wheel light up. Just dont work. What are some of the things i should look for to get this workin again?
Re: Radio Controls on Steering wheel...
Stock sterio?? If it's aftermarket, they might be unpluged. There is a connector on the back of the sterio for the SW controls. Other than that, I'd be lost. I don't know of a way to get them to work w/ an aftermarker sterio.
Re: Radio Controls on Steering wheel...
The harness could be unplugged from the headunit.
And to Bayer, you can buy an adapter harness thing to get the SW controls to work with an aftermarket headunit. I think it costs somewhere around $30.

......Thanx. I'm gonna have to look that up.
Re: Radio Controls on Steering wheel...
dude i wouldn't even worry about trying to fix thoes buttons. They are the worst steering wheel buttons in existence. The are real spongy and work if you apply 100 lbs of pressure in just the tright spot. When some of mine did i work i didn't even bother using them since they were just a PITA.
