C5-Z06 18x10.5" wheels - Need info for FAQ
The data I have on the C5-Z06 stock and (some) aftermarket 18" x 10.5" wheels is that they have a 58mm offset. That makes the backspacing about 8.00". In theory that will put the inside edge of the tire very close to the inner fender panel on a 4th Gen, indicating its likely there will be some "rub".
If you actually own, and have installed these wheels on your 4th Gen:
-did you have any rubbing of the inner edge of the tires on the inner fender pannel?
-did the jounce bumper bracket interfere with the inside of the rim, when the car was jacked and the axle was at full drop?
-if you had any of these problems, what did you do about it?
-are you "sure" of the exact offset of your wheels?
-did you ever measure the actual backspace?
-do you have photos, showing how deep the wheel sit in the fenders?
Any help would be appeciated. Photos will be linked in the FAQ article.

Initially it was rubbing on the inner side of the tire
-if you had any of these problems, what did you do about it?
I purchased a set of longer wheel studs and bought spacers
-are you "sure" of the exact offset of your wheels?
not sure what the offset was but it was done by a local tire shop
-did you ever measure the actual backspace?
no
-do you have photos, showing how deep the wheel sit in the fenders?
No but if you want pics of the car let me know. (They will be shots with the spacers/longer studs)

-did the jounce bumper bracket interfere with the inside of the rim, when the car was jacked and the axle was at full drop?
Yes and only when I jack the rear up, never when driving. I did do some grinding to help the problem a little bit.

I did the BFH mod to get them to stop rubbing during normal driving. I plan on tubbing the rear to help the rubbing that only happens when I have a full load of people in my car. the next is answered above.
-are you "sure" of the exact offset of your wheels?
yes it said in the auction where I bought them
-did you ever measure the actual backspace?
Nope
-do you have photos, showing how deep the wheel sit in the fenders?
The link to my car pics are in the link below the questions. If you want better I can take them just let me know

Pages 1 and 7
To help the top of my rear tires are a 5/16 spacer away from lining up exactly with the fender.
I'm going to take close ups today
NOTE: I have worse issues with rubbing than most because I have 335's in the rear, not the normal 295 and 315 others have.
