Grinding sa tabs on pro mag rocker

It it possible to just grind the tabs off of a sa rocker to make it non-sa. Heres what happened. A couple of my sa rocker tabs got chewed on about 3 or 4 rockers and i dont have the cash for a new set yet so i was thinking of just grinding em flat and using a guide plate for those rockers. Has anyone done this before? what would be the best way to grind it since the tabs are so close to the roller?

You probably won't get a lot of response in the forsale section....

I just wanted to see if anyone successfully ground the tabs off.. I would rather do that and get guideplates anyway
