How rare is the F1 Camaro?
If I'm not mistaken the F1 Camaro is a supercharged LT1 Camaros that LPE made right? I was just wondering how rare are these cars and what is their value say compared to an average Z28 or SS?
Re: How rare is the F1 Camaro?
Not supercharged as I recall. Outside of a suspension and graphics package I'm not really sure what made them different.
As for production numbers and pricing in the re-sell market, not too sure there.

Re: How rare is the F1 Camaro?
Aside from the body kit, it also includes 17x9 rims, GMPP cold air intake (which is the same as the SLP), cat back exhaust, and some other things that I can't remember. Super Chevy did a dyno comparison between a 97SS and an F1 and the F1 put down about 10 rwhp more.
Edit: Come to think of it, maybe it was more like 7. Its been a really long time since that article and I cant remember exactly. Anyways it was around that figure.

F-1's aren't that rare, you can still make your car one. GM dealerships can install everything in house. It's mostly an appearance package. Ground effects, racing stripes, ZR1 rims and suspension pieces. They look nice, but they are not rare like others.

so i'm guessing you guys know about the special, limited production, ZL1 supercar? i'm almost positive that's what it was called...i read about it in a car mag like 3 years ago...the ZL1 was a re-make of the old 1st gen limited production model...the new 4th gen re-make came with a 427, torque thrust billet rims, billet 1st gen grill, and they were autographed by the original makers wife (he's dead now)...they look amazing, and they were all made with the same paint schemes as the various 1st gen models...freakin' sweet rides i think they were running like $42,xxx or somewhere in that ball park

Stage 3 cars came with GMMG catback, electric cutout, Hurst shifter, stull grill with 69 chevy emblem, Graphics and interior, Cragar Rims, not all were signed by berger. You could have any color paint you wanted on them. The price tag for a stage 3 was around 90k they now sell for about 120k.
