This Sunday NYIRP

Weather is looking decent. I will be there in the "Pro" (paved) pits.

I am going for the 10's: I installed 2x100hp nitrous jets (up from 2x75) and am going to try powershifting. If you come you may get to see an LT1 blowup! The motor is coming out this winter anyway and I'm having the tranny rebuilt/upgraded, so why not go for it

It would be great to see some of you guys out there.

Rich,

This sunday the 20th? I might be able to make it. How much does it cost? I would get at least 4 runs right? (3 TNT and one race)

Yep, the 20th. It's T n' T, so it's just $12

Rich, are you sure that it is TNT on sunday? I thought it was "Frigid Nationals" this weekend???

If there is TNT and the weather is good, I will plan on going now that my car is fixed.

They must have changed it and my browser loaded an old copy?

Well, I'm still gonna go. All I need is three runs, I hope

The weather does look nice for sunday...cloudy, dry and cool.

Rich, I just want to make sure that frigid nationals is actually an event we can run at....I *think* it is just the final bracket race deal of the season, but in the past I have shown up for events like this and I wasnt allowed to run....had to turn around and go home. We should call them to be sure.

If we can run, I will be there Also, let me know if you have room for the block....I assume you are going to trailer your car this time....just a feeling I have

Phil, yeah the 3rd is a full TNT....go to www.nyirp.com for the complete schedule.

Sunday: partly sunny, lower 50's

It costs $30 because it's a "race" day. But anyone can run. You are guaranteed at least 4 runs (3 time trials and the first round of elimnations). The gates open at 9:30 with time trials starting at 10:30.

Jason: I will be there for sure. I will probably drive the car out but there should be room for the block in Bob's truck or in my friend Joe's truck. I will let you know. It's not a bigie as I can always run down in the truck, so don't put yourself out.

jason, i can make it this weekend, but i dont see the point of going there, paying $30 for a maybe a handful of runs at most. if i wanted to pay that much, i would just use the track here locally.

its not the cash, its the time to get there. takes about 90-100 minutes for me to get there. if i am gonna do that, i would like to get in as many runs as i want.

oh well, i was gonna try and go tonight (friday) but looks like rain.
