i'd like to get a 10.99 out of et streets, open longtubes, cam, dyno tune, stall, and maybe gears
even if i don't make it to the 10.99... how important is upgrading the suspension if i plan on doing all this work? like would you guys deem is necessary to do the suspension work FIRST... or could i just leave it stock if i really wanted?

you could leave it stock, but suspension can make a lot of difference if you plan on running numbers that low. For instance, Fbody's have been known to axel hop, so you might want to consider a bar that would prevent that. Also the stock springs could be better, might want to get stiffer ones to decrease body roll and twist.
Also a torsen bar can do wonders in the right place. But primarily i'd be worried about axel hop.

Very
You'd hate to get loose on the top end wouldn't you?

I'd say go with some good strong SFC's, LCA's and a good TQ arm...mabie a 12 bolt also..Are you still running the stock rear?? Although running the stocker w/ an A4 would take stress easier than it would w/ an M6. No sudden TQ/PWR surge, just constant. But still, once you start dipping into the tens, I'd advise some SFC's, you don't really want to be flexing the h3ll out of that body...and it helps your times too...What's your current HP/TQ?
IMO, with the power our cars make stock, I should have started w/ suspension mods....Got to be able to put it to the ground..
