I am starting to really want a T56 6 speed, but I cant afford to buy an entire conversion, and definately cant afford to ship it on top of that.

I am from NE Ohio and if anyone in the Ohio, PA, MI, WV, or anywhere else worth driving to has a T56 that works good that wants to swap to a good working 61k 4L60E let me know. Thanks.

problem is you can get a nice 4l60-e for half the cost of the 6 speed and that's not even all the conversion parts you'll need. the autos just aren't worth as much unfortunately. if yours is built up i'd sell it and put the money towards the 6 speed. if it's stock i'd just start saving..

 

There are folks I have seen trade straight up on the board. I am aware my A4 isnt worth as much on the open market, but I feel that if someone wants a A4 and knows they can have every single part needed right there to put on its a decent deal. I'd even be willing to throw some cash around to sweeten the deal. Thanks.

You're right. I was looking to do this about a year ago and, if you had an ls1 car, I would have swapped straight up back then. You just need to find a guy that races and is tired of the inconsistency of an M6.

 

Thats who I am looking for, that or a 76 yr old lady with a modded LT1 that she is tired of shifting going to the country kitchen and back. But the drag guys are a bit more common. Thanks though.
