I like this guy.:D
2005 corvette = 3179 lbs
2005 NSX = 3153 lbs
I don't consider 26 lbs to be any sort of a deal breaker. especially when you get 110 more hp and 176 ft/lbs more torque (400hp/400tq).... for $45k LESS than the NSX.
factor in the Z06, and at 3130 lbs its LIGHTER than the NSX and has 210 more hp and 251 more torque. (500/475)
both vettes have selectable traction and stability control as well. all while being much cheaper than the NSX and offering a ton more performance. As much as I loved the NSX when it was released in 1990, it has become too old, outdated, outpowered, and unable to keep up the pace with todays more modern machines. especially when you factor in its price point.
but that doesn't mean I don't like the car. I would definately rock one as a high-class cruiser and panty-dropping machine, but I wouldn't get one based on its performance capabilities.
Honda really needs to hurry up and finish its NSX replacement.
Yup.

Wow! why did you come back to the honda world. LS1's are so much faster per dollar.
But the ricer NSX followers keep bringing up stupid points.
"Oh the NSX will beat a Corvette in Da TwIsTiEs, y0!"
:D
I read a Motor Trend comparison with the BMW M3, Porsche Boxster S and the Z06. The Z06 beat the BMW & the Porsche in every performance test without breaking a sweat.
The declared performance winner? BMW. Why? Cause it had a backseat!
