anyone have the dyno tune kit?

hey im thinking about doing about a 100-125 shot on my mostly stock motor, i was looking at buying a NX kit because i read that they were realy good quality, but a little pricey. i have been seeing stuff about the dyno tune kit and it seems too cheep to me, anyone have it? anyone have problems with it?

Re: anyone have the dyno tune kit?

No problems with it yet. Install was pretty easy. I think the biggest problem for me was deciding where to mount the bottle. I have it hidden in the spare tire area, with a remote opener. Customer service was really great. I enjoy it a lot. Only thing that I changed was when I bought the purge kit. I went out and bought a brake line to replace the plastic tubing. Other than that, everything is great!

Don't forget to factor in costs of other safety devices (FPSS, Window Switch, Etc..), and what other misc items you want.

If you compare the kits side by side you will see the Dynotune kit is equal to and for some components better quality than the NX kit.

Dynotune sells using the Dell model - direct to customers with no distributors. This typically saves 25 - 40 % on the cost.

Compare the kits side by side and judge for yourself!

Good Luck!

If you use the same size jets you will get similar power. The Dynotune kits are rated at the motor as drivetrain loss varies from car to car. If you have a 4l60E or a Turbo 400 your drivetrain loss will be different. If you have a 12 bolt or a stock rear end your drivetrain loss will be different. If you dyno a car with 15" wheels and switch to 18" wheels your numbers will change.

Hope this helps!

Actually you will not find any distributors as Dynotune sells direct, same marketing strategy as Dell computer, just on a much much much smaller scale Thats how they offer the quality they can at the price they can.
