I doubt will will see a huge one day drop in GM because by the time GM does to junk status the bad new would be already "baked in the cake" and most people would already know what was going to happen. I do however wouldnt be surprised for GM to slowly sell off each week and the sell off will be a slow painful trip to the gutter that will take alot of people with them.

Re: GM=junk
I remember when Ford was floating around the 7's and I kept reading all sorts of optimistic articles on future cars. I doubt GM will rebound as much as Ford, but it will certainly make for a better long term investment.
By the way, that 'article' (or lack of) fails to point out that GM value has been crap for a while now. My non-financial guesstimate will be a further drop in the next month, then yo-yo around (buy time) and then slowly crawl back up as GM announces major changes (except for the Camaro that some of you guys still believe in
...r.i.p. )

I would buy at $25 myself, with a minimum 2 year holding period...buy at 20 for short term gains. By the way, I predict Ford and to a lesser extend, DCX, to make signficant marketshare gains for the next two years.
