91z28 after exhaust onto 91 RS (3" vs 2.5")
Hi everyone I am currently parting out a 1991 z28. One of the parts I want to grab is its flowmaster aftercat system. The muffler on my RS is completely done. Anyways I know the 91 z28 exhaust is a 3" exhaust while the RS is 2.5" my question is if I take the exhaust to a midas or someone will they be able to hook it up onto the RS? They would have to add an adapter I would assume or compress the pipe.
Any thoughts? Also anyone know How I can free up the the exhaust connections on the z28? I sprayed some liquid wrench on there hoping that helps things out...

Ok just wanted to check after checking the end of the cats on both cars I noticed the size difference not sure what they will need to do but Ill call them up.
thanks
thanks
Look they will do the job but buy the exhaust them tell them to put on your new exhaust they will cut the old one with a cutting torch but hey at least you'll be using your new one and if it was me I would wait and purchase some headers for it the get the hole thing done once instead of later thinking of getting headers for it.
