Anybody have a single exaust pipe, no duel pipes?

Does anyone with a 5.7 run just a single outlet exaust? No duel pipes comen out the back just one pipe with a muffler like you see on a Supra? Just would like to know if anyone has done this or knows if you have seen this? Thanks.

A whole bunch of LS1 cars came with a single tip from the factory. It supposedly flowed better too. Alot of people have a 2 on the left cat back from SLP, just 2 pipes on the left side of the car.

Not sure what the muffler on a Supra looks like (never been "behind" one ), but the Mufflex 3.5" and 4" catbacks with the Flowmaster Race Series muffler have a single outlet, with a 90-degree turndown. I ran 800HP through the 4" with single outlet.

You can cut the turndown off, and do a single pipe straight back. A buddy of mine had that setup on an 1,125HP 30th SS convertible, and used the original "2OTL" tip from his SLP exhuast. Didn't seem to hurt his performance.....

I'm running a single exhaust. A Dynomax muffler which exit out the driver side. I also have a cutout as well.

My car has the setup you are looking for, it came with a mandrel bent 2.75" catback I had a my local Leon's cut off the whole back section and weld a pipe on so that it comes over the rear axle and basically straight out into a 3" inlet 4.5" tip Apexi N1 Stainless Steel muffler, I have pics on my webpage man.

Me too, 3 inch all the way with a high flow cat.

I like it, sounds good, and less common.

Yup not to common to see single tip exhaust systems on V-8's, very sneaky lot's of people until you step on it think you have a V-6 I really like the burble it has when you let off from 3K and above barks and pops like a race car

Does your car sound good or does it have that ricer sound to it when you get above 3k RPM? But yeh that is sorta what I was looking for. Thanks.

SLP all the way back, 1 3/4 headers, hi-flow Cat, 3" Catback and 2OTL tail pipes. Adifferent look for a 5.7 and it looks & sounds better then a lot of others.

There's a guy out here in a 97 30th anniversary z28 with dual fart pipes, euro tail lights, high spoiler, etc... Tarnished up a perfecly nice collector's edition z28... anyway. The car acutally sounds pretty decent at WOT. He claims 10's but I've never seen him break out of the 14's.

Nope no tinny sound at any rpm that I can detect, of course I can't say what it would sound like past redline I was just saying that when you let off from higher rpms it kinda burbles like a race car really very cool sounding. It's not as loud as most of the camaro's around here running flowmasters or magnaflows, but it has a very bass sound like if you stand next to the car or especially in directly in back it feels like a 15" sub slamming you in the chest Definetly needs headers and a high flow cat, ah sigh someday when my money tree grows
