ptk install with canton oil pan

Has anyone else had the joys of this yet? They weren't kidding as far as it being for a stock application, cause the crossover pipe would fit with no problems with a stock oilpan. So far, the hardest thing was modifing the canton oil pan to fit without rubbing the crossover pipe. Had to cut off 1/2 an inch of the pan and reweld it. but the headers and the crossover pipe fit good. Hopefully, we'll have it done by tommorrow. Then off to a dyno within a few weeks.

Good to know. Which Canton pan did you buy? I'll be fitting mine up later this week as well, though I have the gen1 ptk kit (you may as well) but I've got some other tricks up my sleeve...

What's your setup consist of (if you dont mind)?

Mine is a gen 1 kit as well.As far as oil pans, I thought there was only one canton oil pan for the LT1. I think our kits were being built at the same time. I'm going to take some pics and post them.

Glad to hear the the setup is going well. Sucks that you had to cut the pan but whatever works right?. Goodluck.

Well cutting wasn't so bad, it was dropping the oil pan out of the car to do it right was the thing. The turbo looks good in the car. Plenty of space to upgrade later on to a bigger turbo . Not to much more to go, should have it done in a few more days working on it 2 hours in the evenings. But I did get some pics and will post them soon.
