ok well here is my problem. when driving my car it sounds normal and quiet, but when i get up to 60km/h a loud humming sound comes from the front of the car. it get louder the faster i go. the only time the humming sound stops is if i turn a right corner, but then when i straighten out again the sound comes back. what could it be, and i really hope its not too expensive or too hard to fix, or dangerous to drive with. thanks alot. i appreciate everyones help and oppinion with all questions i have asked.

 

Could be the tire tread; some tires make noise after they wear.

 

my tires are fairly new, so i dont think that would be the problem. the sound only stops when im making a right turn not a left?????

 

On the tire issue, you could swap the tires around and see if the sound moves--little bit of work i know. Dwayne

 

Could be the wheel Hub. the part which is on the steering knuckle and has the studs on them...when the bearing goes bad they humm. just a thought
