Little Swirly Scratches Everywhere

They are EVERYWHERE!!!! i think i washed it this winter with a brush that was frozen. anyway whats the best stuff to get that out!! thanks in advance!
Re: Little Swirly Scratches Everywhere
This may trigger a whole new Zaino VS. .......debate
I recommend using Zaino. I have a black SS, and nothing works as good IMO. It may be a little more involved, but the results are worth it

Re: Little Swirly Scratches Everywhere
First, I don't recommend using brushes on paint.
Second, Zaino is a sealant with no abrasives or cleaners. It will not remove swirls or scratches. You need a paint polish (ie. Menzerna, Poorboy's, Einszett, etc.).
Swirls are very hard to remove by hand...if you are willing to make an investment, I would recommend getting a Porter Cable random orbital buffer and some nice pads to go with your polishes. The machine is 99% safe for your paint, and it's very effective. There's tons of information on this site and www.autopia.org
Fix the problem...don't TRY to cover it up.

2. Show me a car without swirlmarks. A buffer may help in removing some of them, but NO CAR is immune from them. Unless he's going to be very meticulous about what is used to wash, dry, etc. the car, swirl marks are usually inevitable.
3. Unless the car is a show car, never to see the road, paint "blemishes" are bound to occur. A good quality wax/polish, applied by hand, will go far to hide imperfections and provide protection without making a substantial investment.
I offered my advice on what may help with swirl marks, and while I'm not "an expert" like some, I have used Zaino on my cars as well as cars I've done for people/customers, and not one person has been less than 110% amazed by the results.
Re: Little Swirly Scratches Everywhere
I would say a buffer is a good investment for anyone. And, yes you can remove all swirls with a buffer, if they are not too deep. You can get a swirl remover compound with a light cut. Works great. 99ss is right though, they will come back. Normal washing will leave light swirls and there is no way to prevent this. Wax is good for covering them up but buffing out your entire car at least once a year will keep the swirls from getting really bad. Also, never use automatic carwashes. They leave really bad swirls. Just think, a guy with a big old rusty dirty 4x4 could have had his truck washed before you. All that rust and crap is just going to scrub your paint.
Re: Little Swirly Scratches Everywhere
I never said anything bad about you or Zaino, so don't get huffy. I offered my opinion just the same as you...there's no need for a rebuttal.
I said IF he was willing to make an investment, it would make things easier. He said he wanted to get them out.
If he wanted a product to cover them, there are other products that are probably more suited to that then Zaino which could take 5-10 coats.
I have used MANY, MANY products other than Zaino and including Zaino, so that is just my opinion.
There's no reason to make this an argument, unless that's what you're after.

Re: Little Swirly Scratches Everywhere
Zane,
My apologies...not saying you're "one of them", but I like to offer advice based on experience, and sometimes it seems from past posts that whenever Zaino is mentioned, its followed by "Zaino is over priced", "not worth the effort", etc., and it gets "old". (no reference to you)
Enough of this already
Zaino's my favorite, it's not for everyone, and everyone needs to find out for themselves what works best.
Take care
