I suppose the "best" torque arm would depend on what you are doing with the car. I have had an LG Motorsports torque arm on my car for 3 years and have never heard it. The car never wheel hops on acceleration or wheel spin and hooks up pretty well. The design of the LG arm eliminates the bind in many other designs.

But I will be replacing the LG arm with an Unbalanced Engineering decoupled torque arm soon. It has been in the garage for a few months, I just need some motivation.

Our cars (F-bodies) are subject to axle hop on extreme braking, and the decoupled design eliminates the hop. It is not reported to be silent, but my car is mainly a track car so I am fine with a little noise.

That design looks like something that may be good for road racers, but looks like it goes against everything for drag racing. Seems to me, that arm is intender for better braking, whereas most people who buy them are looking for better accelaration. (60' times) The design also looks as if it would be very noisy. Theres no bushings in it whatso ever.

If your looking for a T/A that is the quietest, yet adustable, and you don't plan to set any land/speed records, almost every aftermarket company make a adjustable T/A that will bolt in place of your stocker. This will be your quietest alternative.
If your looking for one that gets the T/A off the tailshaft of the tranny, I higly recomend the Spohn T/A, since it utilizes 2 poly bushings which makes it very quiet. This is the one I use and I noticed a small amount of noise, but not much more than stock.

My UETA makes a minor thump when coming down from a speed bump, but the only other noise it makes is due to the exhaust being pinched. The heim joint brake link has hard rubber washers between the sliding arm and the snubber, and the snubber is hard rubber as well.
