STS with long tubes?400hp ss 02-21-2005, 10:28 AM I got a lt1 camaro with a full heads cam package with long tubes and i was wondering if anyone has put a rear mounted turbo with long tubes? Also where can i get some of the flanges to a t04 trubo see i got a new t04 , wastegate, blowoff valve and intercooler and i was going to try and make my own rear turbo kit any help or pics would be great. 92LT1RS 02-21-2005, 10:43 AM why would long tubes make any difference at all since the turbo isn't mounted anywhere near them? if you can't find flanges you haven't looked around much. trtturbo 02-21-2005, 10:55 AM If you are making a kit, then you make it fit with long tubes. The STS kit for an LS1 will fit an LT1 with LT's. I KNOW THE TURBO IS IN THE BACK! I was worndering where the cold side pipeing was runing sence the long tubes are in the way of the pipeing to come up to the motor.
