Question !! AC/Heater Delete !!

I have a 1991 Camaro z28, 350. I'm doing an rebuild, clean up, dress up, emmisions delete. How do I do a successful air conditioning and heater delete? I removed all the parts up to the firewall, hoses, heater box. Do I need to do anything else besides block off the holes that are in the firewall? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: !! AC/Heater Delete !!

Are you taking the WHOLE climate comtrol sys out? My 85 F-bird is just about the same thing, soo... ....If you are, I'd say take the whole pannel of controls out, follow the wires back and pull the connections from the fuse box. Mabie even go as far as to pull their power source out, as long as it dosen't feed to any thing else. I assume that you have the repair manual, or even if you don't need it. A wiring schematic would help....If you want to go that far. You don't want unused live wires hanging around. The wiring really isn't that bad on the third gen's.

Pull the tubing out from the blower motor, remove blower motor. I think there is mostly linkage for defrost/ pannel selection....Blend-door removal.
Come to think of it, that'd be a nice place to put gauges.....That's all I can think of for right now...hope that helped.
