Apply Zaino with porter cable orbital buffer?

I have been using Zaino on my red '95 Z28 for about 5 or so years now and love the results  . I am going to be picking up a porter cable random orbital buffer (either the 7336 or 7424) and was wondering if results would be better or worse with the buffer? Can I use the buffer to apply Z-2 and Z-5? Which pads should I use for each of those products? Any advice on any "proper" technique for Zaino use with a buffer would be great!

You can use the PC to apply Zaino, but it's really a personal preference thing. Not necessarily an advantage or disadvantage.

If you decide to apply via PC, you would want to use a grey finishing pad.

Hey Jeff,

I recommend you check out Zaino's website (www.zainobros.com) for tips on applying Zaino.

I'm not sure about using an orbital buffer to apply Zaino???

Just checked the site :) I guess you could use the buffer to apply, but removal suggests "up/down" on vertical surfaces, "front/back" on flat surfaces.

I've always Zainoed by hand.

You can use the black or gray soft finish pad to apply either z-2 or Z-5 but its really much easier by hand you will use about 1.5 more product with the buffer pads....

Thanks for the input guys. I will just keep applying Zaino by hand while admiring the results!
