Just wanna double check
Just wanna double check
OK I just want to double check this... When I'm driving on the highway and go to brake slightly the steering wheel as well as the front of the car starts to shake... Last time this happened I needed to get the rotors shaved. I have new rotors waiting in my garage to be put on. Basically what my question is it time to replace the rotors, or do i still have time... Mind you the shakin only occurs while braking from (60+ mph)... Driving around slower then that and u don't really notice it.
Re: Just wanna double check
Just get them turned and see if that helps. If not, it will only get worse as time goes by.
I just put in new pads and rotors in the front. At almost 68K I still had the original pads and rotors.
There was still about 15-20% of the pad left, but the shaking was starting to get out of hand.
Literally!
Time to swap out the rears this coming weekend. At about 100 bucks for ceramic pads and two rotors from AutoZone, you can't go too wrong, IMO.

Now it's smooth sailing all the way.
