i don't autocross, but i do a lot of heavy breaking from high speeds (i could swear that was a cop, dude!). i just bought some drilled (CNC'd) and slotted rotors and was wondering what brake bads i should run. right now i have the carbon NAPA pads, will they be okay? i can get the PF carbon pads for a little over $80 all the way around, but would rather save a few dollars if i can. anybody know what i can do here, i want to put these rotors on in a couple days. thanks

would i be able to get away with a $20-$30 set of autozone brand or something pads?

If you do that much braking from high speeds then you DON'T want drilled rotors unless you like cracked rotors too .Drilled rotors look great, but will crack easily under heat stress. Just a FYI

the guy warranteed them from heat cracks, so i am not too concerned about it.
I have a set of the Perf Friction front pads for my 95. They have less than 1 mi on them. I had to use them to get the car in/out of driveway and on/off the trailer, once, and was out of race pads till they arrived. They'd be both good and cheap. $35 gets them... EEmail me at bcurrey99@yahoo.com if you want them.
