ever hear of Mad Dog transmitions?
he's up in tampa. i found him auctioning stuff on ebay and looked at his website. appears to be pretty damn good. sent him an email and he is offering a 700r4 supposedly to hold 450hp (alot more that what im planning), and a restalled rebuilt converter 2400stall. for 675 if i pick it up in tampa and give him a core which i have. anyone hear of him? dealt with him? he seems like the real thing to me. real nice guy. but you never know.

A friend of mine just bought one and picked it up. Seems ok- good deal. Will be installing it tomorrow behind a mild small block. If you can wait, I'll let you know how it feels/holds up.
