A bit more than you want to spend. add the cost of a new opti etc into whatever fright pigs your are looking at for 6k and my car is cheaper, and mint!

I am 685 miles from cinci. I drove it alone in the Z28 in october in less than 11 hours.

Re: TA/Camaro in Ohio

Are you at all interested in a pretty nice 95 v6/a4 car? Black, 17" wheels, newer tires, z28 exhaust, grill, Big Block hood, tinted windows, clear corners, pioneer cd/mp3 player... It's not in perfect shape, but definitely looks good enough to have an LT-1 transplanted into it at some point. I'm looking for $4800 out of it. Here is a link to a couple of pic's. http://www.bright.net/~commagic/95.htm only difference is I've taken out the clear tail lights and went back to stock. I didn't like the way they looked on a black car. If interested, let me know. I'm in southern OH.

Re: TA/Camaro in Ohio

Here's the info on my car. E-mail me for pics too. When the mods were done 20k miles ago, I replaced the opti with a new 95+ version, and since then, I had to replace that one about 12k miles ago, so the new one has 12k miles on it. Anyway, let me know what you think. I'm about 3 1/2 hours from Pittsburgh, not sure how much farther west you may be.
Built LT1, 6 speed, PS, PB, PW, PDL, AC, Recent Arctic white paint with painted hugger orange stripes, graphite cloth interior, JVC head unit with 12 disc CD changer, White face gauges, Autometer Phantom fuel pressure gauge and A/F gauge mounted on pillar. Car has 116k miles on it, entire top end has 20k on it. Heads were rebuilt when all internal mods were installed.
Modifications:
Engine: Comp Cams Xtreme series 224/230 roller cam, heads rebuilt 20k miles ago with Crane 10-308 springs, Crane Gold Race 1.6 ratio roller rockers, guideplates, ARP studs and head bolts, new valve seals, and Cloyes double roller timing chain. I converted the distributor over to the vented 95+ setup and installed a Meziere electric water pump. Also has a Moroso cold air kit and a Trick flow ceramic coated intake elbow and a BBK 52MM throttle body. Exhaust flows through Hooker headers and Random technologies cat to a Flowmaster 2 chamber cat-back system. MSD coil and Taylor 8mm wires. It also has a PCMforless chip to go with this cam.
Drivetrain: Chrome Hurst shifter, Richmond 3.73 gears.
Suspension/Chassis: BMR tubular control arms, panhard rod with poly bushings, and a strut tower brace.
Wheels/Tires: Comes with Weld draglites with 165R tires (front) and 295/50 tires rear. Also included are 4 stock Camaro wheels with 2 good stock tires, and 2 with used BFGoodrich drag radials.
Performance: Car has run a best of 12.6x @ 109 in the ¼, and usually runs 12.8-12.9 pretty consistently. I take it to the track twice a year (spring/fall) with friends just for fun and for a little bragging... It runs great, sounds great, and still knocks down 24 mpg on the highway. The entire car is nice and tight and drives great.
Problems? Very few! The driver's seat has the usual tear in the side bolster (graphite interior) and it's about the size of a 50 cent piece. I'm willing to fix that for a serious buyer. Also, you proably saw that it has Richmond 3.73 gears, and they make some noise. These have been in the car for 6 years and were one of the first things I did to it. Had I known more about the Richmond 7.5" gears then, I never would have bought them. Anyway, the exhaust note is loud enough that it's hard to hear it anyway...
I'm asking $6800 negotiable.
The car is located near York,
