I particularly like Thunder Racing and Texas Speed & Performance.

A good muffler shop could fabricate you a complete cat-back, but that'd probably get expensive and would only be worth it if you wanted to get them to do you true duals or something.

Or search around in the For Sale forum for someone selling a used cat-back.

lol@flybono
But I checked out those sites grdlock.. and they were either WAY to expensive, or they didn't have what I was looking for.
I have called SEVERAL muffler/exhuast shops.. and they want like 300-500 dollars for a freaking custom built catback! Fock that sh*t! I am so pissed off that I can't find this focking thing now..

What about that Hooker cat-back? Lots of people compare Hooker to sounding similar to Flowmasters, except they sound a lot cleaner IMO, I had Hooker on my '95 TA, sounded badass. You can't beat the price either.

If you're stuck on Flowmaster though:

You'd have to call Summit though to make sure you get one that fits your car.

The most restrictive piece in an exhaust system is the muffler. Get an aftermarket muffler that's a straight-through design like a bullet or a Dynomax Ultra-Flow and save hundreds of dollars.

I will call summit about the flow's.. but the Hooker is way more money than I would like to spend How are the Hookers more "cleaner" sounding though?
I am thinking that bullits will be too noisy, and they wont give me that sound that a Flow will (like when you let off the gas, and you hear that amazing roar of the engine slowing down, or when you hear the backfires)

lol, well dude... I dunno how you're expecting to get cat-back exhaust then. Hooker's one of the cheapest priced cat-backs you can get. What'd you expect, an entire cat-back for $50 or something?

About Hooker sounding cleaner, I don't know how to describe it, "cleaner" is the only descriptive word I can think of to describe it. I guess it's just something you have to hear in real life. Flows get raspy and just don't sound very good a lot of the times IMO.

That video posted above is definitely how good Hooker sounds

Thanks! That's with long tube headers though. It still sounded good with the manifolds. I still have the video of that as well, but it is not on my webspace. Thanks for the compliment though.

$300-$500 is pretty average for a catback system.

Well it seems like you found out where to get a Cat Back before you even asked. I think you should change your question to "Where do I get a really cheap cat back" or "How can I earn some extra cash so I can afford a new cat back"

Just a suggestion

but really ,look in the for sale section.

Wow LS1_03.. that Hooker sounds AMAZING!!!! How does it sound when you let off the gas real suddenly though? Does it make that powerful, loud noise like the Flow's tend to?
I found a Dynomax for about $170.. then looked more, and found it for $120.. THAT is cheap But $250 a Hooker catback HOw hard are catbacks to instal yourself w/ out a lift?
But I still cant find an 80 series, or a 40 series catback.
