Red face Softer than usual brake pedal...HELP!

Ok, i just bought my 96 camaro v6, 110k miles, i noticed yesterday after i had to brake hard my pedal was a lil softer than usual, so after i got to my g/f`s house, i popped the hood, and i noticed right where the master cylinder bolts into the brake booster there was some fluid leakage, slight but its there. Could this cause my spongier than usual pedal? and if so how hard is it to repair, im assuming theres a gasket.

I guess I don't know exactly where you're talking about. But if you're talking about where the MC bolts to the fire wall, then there shouldn't be any fuild leakage there. You may want to remove the two nuts and check things out. Brakes will get a little spongy after a hard stop, so that could have been your problem. How are the brakes now? Are they still a little soft?
