I bought this 2002 Camaro convertible as a "builder".
Easy hit in the front right corner. It's a 6 cylinder.
The car runs just fine but when you push on the gas peddle it doesn't do anything.
Is the throttle on these electronic?
Any help appreciated!

Yup they have throttle by wire. I don't know much about that but from how it sounds you're screwed.

There are 2 TPS sensors in the motor unit. there is an APP sensor on the gas pedal. Start by looking at that and the throttle body to make sure that theya re both pluged in and working. Then check the fuses. I don't have the wireing diagram for the system with me so thats all I can tell you for now.
