FIT Car Show

The Florida Institute of Technology Sports Car Club will be holding its 2nd Annual Sports Car Show on December 5th, 2004. The show will run from 10am till 4pm for domestics and 5pm till 10pm for imports. We will be giving out trophies for the top car in each category. Vendors from around the area will be there with products and local dealerships will also be there displaying new cars. This year we will also have a moble dyno!! Anyone interested in comming to check out the show feel free to come down and join us. Anyone interested in being in this event is welcome to preregister at the following link: www.fitscc.fit.edu/carshow Preregistration is $15, and registration day of the show is $20, with proceeds going towards Pandoras Box, a charity wich helps thoes who suffer from post traumatic stress disorder, aka Gulf War Syndrom. Directions to the show: Take Rt95 to exit 180, which is Rt192. Turn onto Rt192 East. Follow 192 about 3 miles until you get to Babcock Street, Take a right onto Babcock St. Follow Babcock down 4 stop lights to University Blvd. Take a right onto University and then your first left into the Clemente Center Parking lot. We will have signs around the area for the car show. (If you want to mapquest it, the address is 150 West University Blvd, Melbourne, 32901)

makes us "domestics" look like were the old people that have to be in bed by 7PM..and the Import guys are the party guys???

sorry just the way it sounds...but I guess with all the neon and crap I guess its better for the night with those guys :rolleyes:

We dont think the Domestic guys are old folks, we put the imports for the exact reason that you said, because they have lights and effects like that on the cars that we werent able to see or judge during our show last year because the show was during the day. We also found that many of the domestic owners had issues with the import owners because they thought the sound systems comming from the import owners cars were too lound and they didnt like it, so we thought a split show would be better for everyone this year.

im assumming we don't have to be registered and participating in the show to use the dyno, right? do you know the price of it?

The price for the dyno without being in the show is $50. If you are in the show it is $35 to dyno.
