I was wondering if anybody out there has had a car painted by MAACO and been satisfied with the results? Al the local body shops want to charge over a grand. MAACO said they'll do their intermediate paint job with a 4 (maybe 5) yeear warranty for $599, including the door-sills. Price-wise, you just can't smack it. Quality is the question. I know you normally get what you pay for, but in MAACO's case, they get a huge discount on their paint and mix their own, saving tons of gree stuff in the process. Most local-yokals have to go to a paint shop and buy their paint. That alone sometimes costs half as much as the whole darned job! Thanx :D

MAACO can do quality work. However, it boils down to two things:
Does the shop in your area have a good reputation?
Are you willing to do the prep work yourself?
Since most of a paint job is getting it ready, you won't get good results unless you spend a good deal of time and effort on it, something MAACO can't provide at that price.

My paw-in-law can do the prep work for me. It only has one little ding in the door and other than that it just needs to be sanded down and primered. I'll keep that piece of ino in mind. Thanks!
