Ok, I'm seriously thinking about getting longtube headers with an ORY and no cats now. People say that my GMMG will be extremely raspy, but what is rasp? For instance, is a Nascar race car raspy? I know it will be REALLY loud, but thats what I want :D Cops won't pull me over for it either, since I'm in Kentucky :metal: I need some good comparisons to what it will sound like. If a race car is raspy, then bring the rasp :D

Everything without cats is raspy. I guess the closest thing to a "rasp" would be sort of a "pssssh" sound.

Of course its not raspy. I've had the GMMG for about 2 years now, and it sounds awesome. But I've heard it will be a rasp machine if you add longtubes without cats.

i've heard that w/o cats, it will not sound much different on the gmmg
maybe some rasp but i think it's better than any other exhaust for that (just going on what i've heard before)

I wish I could hear a few cars with this setup also. I have the GMMG and am thinking about LT's and ORY...

Some people say its awesome, and others say its a rasp machine. All I know is it would be LOUD  I may just go ahead and add longtubes and ORY, and if I don't like it, I'll just weld in some high flow cats later. :metal:

So which y-pipe should I use with the pacesetter headers? (since their y-pipe sucks)
