Anyone in New York want to check out this new LT1 hood?

I saw this on ebay. I realize its just a scoop you mold on to your stock hood but it actually looks like its made to fit our hoods specifically. I like the look of it, and its pretty cheap too. I think it would make a cool hood that not to many people have. Anyone want to go check it out and find out if they are worth a damn?

... for that price and the price to get it molded on and prep work and paint wouldnt it be coming to nearly same price for a new hood - granted it wouldnt look excactly the same but it would be fiberglass

It would probably cost as much as a glass hood by the time the work was done but i see a few benefits.
1. its still your stock hood so the fit would probably be the best available for our cars. (huge benefit if you ask me)
2. Its different. I like the way it looks and its something that not everyone has.

The only down side i see is it would be heavier than a glass hood.

Thats not an SS hood thats the point. Its something different. It looks nothing like the SS. The only way it even resembles the SS is that it fits a camaro and has a hood scoop. If i knew how the quality was i would be all over that scoop. It would make for one awesome hood.
