Ok I am going to buy either a supercharger or turbo for my lt1. What would yall recommend and the car is a 96 trans am TOTALLY STOCK. Is there anything I need to do before I do a supercharger or turbo?

If you mean you are going to put a blower on a stock LT1, you need to be very careful, as the previous post suggests. They are not very tolerant of boost.

Couldn't hurt. Some people get thousands of miles on a stock bottom end, some people get tens of miles. They'll all go eventually though.
