Where to get the male connector for my akm cable?gamecockfan04 10-05-2004, 11:46 AM Ive got an AKM cable, but my laptop is a newer Dell and has the female 9 pin connector on the back, which is what the AKM cable has as well. You might be mistaking the monitor port for a serial port. I'd double check the number of pins on the port. DarkHorse 10-05-2004, 05:15 PM If it's blue it's the vga port - make sure. More than likely the laptop does not have a serial port - they are going the way of floppy drives.
