Any reccomendations on removing roofing tar from car?

Any tips on how to get roofing tar out of scratches on a car? Kinda like if a roof shingle drilled your car, and there is some tar in the scratches a little bit.

Thanks in advance..

Clay, WD-40, or bug and tar remover.

As said Clay, WD40, Tarminator, they should all work for you, then some 3M Scratch and Swirl Remover for any scratches.

DO NOT USE laquer thinner...sure it will take away the tar..but it will also take away the paint!!!

Use some clay...or bug and tar removal...some of these guys say WD-40 works good too...maybe u should give that a try, i have never tried that.
