Post pics of your HUD's

Hi, just wanting to see what everybody's HUD's look like. I currently have a 94' Trans Am, but the HUD is a little boring. Wanting to see what a LS1 HUD looks like.

Thanks!

I recall coming across a website a couple years ago of a guy that modified a HUD to work with his F-body. You may be able to find it on Google... it was a while back when I saw it.

Re: Post pics of your HUD's

I've got one in the conceptual phase, nothing more than a few parts of a C program for a PIC Micro, some schematics, drawings, sketches, and knowing what I want it to do and what I need to do it.

I'm hoping to do most of it this winter.

The only HUD options are the Defi VSDII and the Holosport (Which I'm still not sure if has hit the market). The factory units are too deep to be adapted to our cars without some serious cutting fabbing. The aftermarket units are thin enough the can be mostly hidden into the dashcover. The unit I'm making is going to be ~ 1.75" thick, but should surpass most of the units sold today, primarily due to the display I'm going to be using.

Actually...there are aftermarket HUD systems on the market that will fit any vehicle. Lingenfelter's shop sells them. It's called the DEFI VSD Speedometer and Tach.
