Hooking on the street

For me we race on concrete. If I bake my 315 nittos the car hooks ok. I was launching last night at about 3K and it was bogging :eek: In first&second I believe it spins a bit but is still modivating. When I race those tubed cars on the street they can get me out of the hole by about 2-3 cars. I was wondering if anyone has tried those new mickey drag radials. I hear they work excellent. Im trying to see if any of you have got your cars to come out hard on the street where you can actually launch it and have it hook. If so whats your suspension look like in the rear?

What does, "Hooking on the street", have to do with traction?

My car hooks pretty good on the street with 275 Nittos, BMR adjustable TA, relocation brackets and an Eibach drag launch kit.
My car only has about 300 rear wheel horsepower though, if your wanting to hook that monster in your sig then your gonna need sturdier parts...... :D
I know a couple of guys around here useing the new MTs and they love them to death.......claim they work better than ET streets.... :eek:
