what's the least expensive 315/35/17 OR 315/40/17 tire?

When I get my 17x11's I won't be doing anything except for highway driving. What's the least expensive 315/35/17 or 315/40/17 tire?

315/35r17's can be had for cheap, check www.tirerack.com

Try to find 315/40r17... I dont see any at tirerack - and I'm going to guess they are a VERY rare size if made (and more expensive). Heck, a 315/35r17 is a hard tire size to find!

i just saw two on ebay (separate auctions) that were at like $60 for BFG's

Cheapest I saw were Pirellis

I think non-drag radials look funny on the 11" wheel
I suggest Nitto DR's for this reason..Expensive, but worth it if you care about the appearance of your car

i also care about being able to drive in the rain

Cheapest tires in 315/35/17 are probably the Sumitomos. Check tire rack as previously suggested.

Are nittos really that bad in the rain. I was gonna buy them for my zr1's.
