Any way to turn off "thread preview" ?

You know that yellow box that pops up to show you the first line of the thread before you open it. Can I turn that off at all?

Can we make a poll and see what everybody else thinks??

Just wondering. If its stays no big deal. I just find it annoying.

It was requested by many for us to implement. If we did a poll it would be very one-sided.

I didn't like it myself at first, but I got used to keeping the mouse away from the thread subject area until I actually wanted to click.

Sorry!

That's exactly what I started doing.

Jason,
When I click on the Verizon banner to the left nothing happens. I mentioned this in another thread in here a week or so ago too. I don't think it's my computer because it does the same thing at work and home. Just an FYI for ya.

Musta missed that the first time. I tried it and it worked fine. Might be ore than one Verizon ad running, though. Thanks!

Jason,
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. As I type this, there is a Verizon ad to the left and when I click on it nothing happens. Earlier tonight it worked fine. Very odd! I do check often because I'm looking for a new cell phone provider and I like the 'ole buy one phone get one free!!

I figured it out Jason...
It's the banner with the two Samsung A610 Flip phones on it - "Buy one get one free for only $69.99"

The DSL one and the one with the other 3 phones on it work when I click them. The flip camera phone one doesn't work. How's that for some detective work, eh?

Jacki,

I see exactly which banner your talking about - the Buy one get one free Camera phone Verizon banner right? Unfortunately we do not control the ads that are served up by Valueclick, an Ad serving partner of ours.
