i just did my pads on the front because the brakes were squealing and i thought i needed brakes. Well they still squeal!!!! I took them off again today to make sure everything is okay and the brakes are fine, new pads, and i used tons of brake clean. any ide what would still cause my brakes to squeal?

 

What type of pads did you buy? Also did you put grease on the back of the pads where there is metal to metal contact?

 

the brakes only squeal at low speeds such as when i am coming up to a stoplight.

 

Maybe try cutting the rotors and using a stop squeal coating on the back of your pads.

 

Try using squeal lube like everybody else said and try grinding edge of pads on an angle normally called champhered
