Fuel cells in the cargo area...need pics

Anyone have any pics of there fuel cell in the cargo area. yes I did a search, and on several boards as well. No dice.

I am wanting to take out the stock fuel tank and put in a 10 gallon fuel cell cause, 1. saves weight 2. is almost cheaper then sumping your tank 3. Makes it easier to run my fuel line.

So if you would be so kind to post some pics.

Thanks

Are you taking into account you'll need to bend/make/fabricate a metal wall to seperate the cell from the cabin of the car? You'll need this to be NHRA legal anyways.

You wont be able to fit a 10 gal cell in the luggage area, the cell I have is a 4 gal upright, I originally tried to make a 8 gal fit, it was too big. I tried to put the 8gal in the stock location and it interfered with rear end cover travel.

You can just install a bulkhead fitting in your stock tank, I had that last year and my buddy runs it on his car. Install it towards the back of the tank in the middle. Easier than sumping the tank and as long as you keep a few gallons in there it wont ever slosh and suck the tank dry.

There are some pics on my site of how I mounted my 4 gallon fuel cell in the back and fabricated a rear firewall.

Why not use the late model plastic tank and build a custom pick-up? It took me two hours to modify the tank on my 1999 Camaro. It now has an #8AN pick-up and a #6AN return and uses the factory locking ring (pump is now external).

Thanks for all the suggestion/comments.

I think I am going to go ahead and do the bulk head fitting route.
