Well i ran my car for the first time today. I have never raced on the strip before. I went as good as a 15.9, and as bad as a 20.3. I had reaction times as good as .570, and bad as 1.03. I thought I would have gotten a little faster than that, but it was fun none-the-less. any info?

yep its addicting...the first time i went to the track i ran miserably all day and couldnt get out of the high 13s, but somehow i was STILL hooked.
if you don't mind me asking how did you manage a 20.3 second pass?
also what were your 60 foot times and trap speed on the 15.9???

ok well no offense but your 60 foot is horrible so if you could just lower that to even a 2.0 your ET would drop to approximately 15.3....there is 14 second potential in your car. :) keep at it.

well i am pretty new at it, so im still getting the hang of it. any advice? It took me till the 2nd to last pass to stop waiting for green. one of the runs i ended up ripping off my shifter knob, it was duct taped on by the previous owner.......wtf is that ****. lol.

well the only adivce i can give you is practic practice practice....im sure there is at least a couple tenths just in your shifting ability alone. if you get some more seat time, no matter how well u drove before, you WILL drive better. how badly were you spinning off the line??? you may want to try lowering your air pressure to around 25 psi (for street tires i mean) and just popping the clutch quick in the burnout box to clean your tires off (theres no real need to do a full burnout on street tires.) after that, stage the car and go on the third yellow... :D

Anyone ever get or come close to a 0.001 reaction time? I'm curious

the best reacion time you can get, mentally, and physically is a .500. anything under that is jumping the light.
