With an A4 and 3:23's, I get about 16-19 city and I have gotten as much as 29 on the highway.

with the 3.23 I usually get 17-19 around town and 22 on the highway.

I usually drive 80-90 on the interstate, so if I slowed down it would be better. I also have a hard time believing 29mpg on the highway.

LOL, luckily I'm comfortable in my manhood so I really don't care how hard of a time you're having, it happened! From Charleston, SC to Pascagoula, MS (678 miles)Filled up before I left, had the cruise set on 75mph, and stopped only once for gas. Still had almost 1/2 tank when I got home! Checked it when I filled up and it came out to right at 29mpg. The average I normally get on that trip is about 27mpg (maybe I had a tailwind that night? ). If you are only getting 22, then check your O2 sensors maybe?

I averaged 27/28 MPG on the highway with a just TR230 cam. Right now I am averaging 15MPG running around with an M6, 4.11's, TR230 and Flowtech LT's. Haven't had it on a run yet, so don't know about that.

I don't know about MPG (I'm accustomed to kilometers and litres!) but I know that the most I've ever gotten on a full tank of fuel, with 2.73's on the highway, was about ~310 miles on a tank of gas. Someone else can figure out my MPG. On average though, I normally got around ~230 miles per tank (50/50 city/hwy) and now with 4.10's I'm getting ~200 miles/tank on average, although I just got 250 miles on my last tank of gas, which was all highway driving! So really, that's only 60 miles less than the most I ever got with 2.73 gears!

i dont remember what i got with 2.73s and my around-town mileage is shot by my converter, but i can tell you with complete certainty that my '98 still manages 24 mpg on the highway with 3.42s and one or two WOT jaunts.

Just think though, an M6 w/4.10's @ 70 mph in 6th gear is 1900 rpm.....

.....only ~150 rpm higher than an A4 w/2.73's @ 70 mph in overdrive!

M6 w/3.42's @ 70 mph in 6th is what, only ~1600 rpm.

Ok....that's retarted...normal people go off mpg (which is # of miles divided by gallons used) not how many miles you can go on a tank!

Anyways I can go anywhere from 400-450 untill I fill up with 14 or so gallons of gas...is that too hard for ya?

Again, my whole ego is based on if you believe my gas mileage or not But just to make you happy, Charleston,SC past Atlanta,GA (can't remeber the name of the town, but it's about 25 miles or so past I-285, going south on I-85. 357 miles (I think) and it took 12.3 gallons,I remember the 12.3 because I was showing almost E on the guage so I thought it would take 14-15. Also, more than a car/engine decides gas mileage.
A-was it raining?
B-windy?
C-uphill or downhill?
D-tire pressure?
E-width of tires?
F-alignment good?
G-tune good?
H-O2's good?
Those are just a few things that can affect gas mileage on a car, your belief or disbelief isn't one of them!

How the F#(& do you get 450 miles on a tank?!?!?!?!?!? That's 730 kms!!! The most I have EVER run on a tank of gas was 501 kms (~310 miles) and that was non-stop highway driving, with 2.73 gears!?? If that's on 14 gallons of gas, that's only ~22 mpg?

Whoa.
