Any of you guys running Weld skinnies (15x3.5) on the front? If so do you have any clearance issues, such as do you have to run a spacer on the front?
I am thinking of changing to the LS1 front brakes and was wondering if I would still have to use the spacers on the front.

Yup you have to use a 5/16" spacer.

I am not using spacers, although, I did grind the the brake calipers quite a bit (LS1 convert).
You will still need to grind the calipers even with the 5/16" spacers.

not in the front.....they will work with no grinding with a spacer only.

i have LT1 brakes and didnt use a spacer (didnt want to use one) it makes the wheels stick out to far for my taste gives it the ghetto look a bit. Just my HO. Just did a little grinding and i was fine.

My friend had to grind (using spacers) on his '02 Z28.

It can depend on how new or old your brake pads are. The thickness of the pads will determine how far the caliper sits out.

That would be me. Yes, I did have to grind a little off, nothing ridiculous, but still had to grind even with the spacer. I had heard that you could fit them without grinding with the spacers and I decided to try it. I have a couple scratches in the rear of my wheels to prove that they rubbed.
