my little sister turned 16 and is buying first car- its a pontiac sunfire and dealer swears he only buys cars from florida - i live in CT

since its her first car ive been dealing with dealer and have a really good deal on car and it seems too good- sux too she almost went for a 95 trans am till we found it had been hit in rear

 

fwiw, i had my 96z28 carfaxed before i bought it. had a clear title with no accidents or any other strange problems. well 1 month after i bought it, i noticed it had been crashed in the front pass side, you could tell the airbag (pass side) had come out. there was white dust all under the dash around the airbag holder....

imo CARFAX is useless

 

i bought a salvage camaro - totaled - to rebuild- ran carfax and said it was in no accidents- title even had salvage stamped on it

 

haha nvm then...

 

From what I understand, Carfax doesn't cover all 50 states. You might've been in one of the ones they don't get data from.
