Hmm... I'd have to see that color in person. Thumbs up for trying something different though!

Were you in the Army? You could easily make it an "Army Camaro" (American Chopper can do theme bikes... why can't we do theme Camaros?!?!) with a few select decals on there :)

Damn CW, you have done alot to the car since I moved. I used to live up the street from Roger on Branding Iron Circle. Did you guys spray the car yourselves again? Be sure to take some pictures of the lights at night facing a wall or down the street. I will have to check it out when I come down to Cruces again later this year.

Im sorry but I would rather drive my buddies YUGO, I am not feelin it at all. I am not saying mine is the best either but the wheels need to be diff, and put a black stripe up the middle starting on the scoop to break up the green a little and I would like it then. Just my opinion, but kudos for being different, good luck.

the interior is gutter for the look not to save weight. anyone who gutts there interior to save weight is fighing a losing battle. the seats were got not because they are "light-weight" but because i have to get a seat that will run 4 points to go along with the rollbar. 60lbs is not going to add alot of time in the 1/4, plus it looks really good!!
All the stereo equipment???? a amp and one 10 in a box all the stereo equipment?? 5mins and it couldb be taking out!!

You're kidding, right? Gutted for looks? Thats the most rediculous thing I've ever heard.

And no, lightening these cars is not fighting a losing battle. Do some research and you'll see. Inform yourself before you post things that make you look ignorant.

Saving weight helps in all aspects of performance.....acceleration, braking, lateral handling, turn-in and turning response. But I guess if all you do is drag race, all these things dont matter that much.

60lbs is not going to add alot of time in the 1/4, plus it looks really good!!
Well I hope you and your bed-liner are very happy together. Congratulations.

Speedracer, the color IMO looks awesome! As I said when you mentioned it before, i was planning on doing the same thing in the future. After seing yours I still might, but it will be a while before I buy another car. I have some other plans, though, not just the paint....Secret Squirril stuff. I could just imagine the looks on people's faces when I finally do mine and Ride into work (I am in the Marines).

Now, since you asked for Opinions......
The wheels being Different is kinda ghetto, but if you like it then that is your call.
The Interior would look better back in the car. It looks like it was fresh from the shop, so maybe it is going back in but I have always thought 'trashy' when I see a car without interior panels. At least the door/side panels and carpet....

Good luck with it. the color came out awesome!

I think the longer I look at he picks the more I like the green with the black wheels. The green wheels are a little ricer looking in my opinion. Plus the black wheels even the goloring of the car over all since the roof is still black. But I have to ask where did you get the tail lights? I realy like those and must have a set. Exterior gets a thumbs up except for the green wheels. But i like the creature comforts of the stock interior to much so I have to say thumbs down on the interior. But it is very unique and that makes it cool.

That's when I proceeded to try and poke my eyes out with my McDonald's french fries to no avail. Now my eyes are just burning from the salt and the last impression in my mind is green wheels.

Just giving you a hard time man. It isn't that bad (except the green wheels). You definitely succeeded at being original - I don't think you will ever find a Camaro like that one. Like the taillights and rear panel - :thumb:

That is not done in good taste. Mismatched rim colors, gutted interior, etc. I could hit my car with a hammer and call it unique, or spray paint flames on it. Actually, my car is all primer right now (I'm painting when the rain lets up), should I leave it and be in cruising in style?

I agree. Some fm-5's would look sweet also :D . My friend rhinolined the interior of his Bronco, and it's actually pretty nifty, so I won't fault you on that. I will say that IMHO you may need somthing to give you a bit more contrast on your car, maybe polishing your calipers along with a polished lip on the wheels to match the exhaust tip. Other than that, I'll say you certainly have something original. Any thoughts about replacing the badges?

I think your car on the outside looks bad ass. I like the black wheel side better though... Maybe just for like a car show I would do 2 different sets of wheels. But for everday I would go all black wheels.
The color is really nice and the accents of the berger panel and the export tails looks bad a$$.

As far as the interior I think the spray on bedliner is silly. Why would you do something like that? I would remove that and add some DYNA-MAT to the back and recarpet the interior. I don't think your car is a full blown race car so I do not think that you need to have it stripped.

Othewise nice job modding and good luck.

Some of you guys don't need to be so damn rude about this.

Saying you don't like the color or whatever is one thing, but calling it "diarrhea color" and "baby sh*t green" is going beyond expressing your basic opinion to the point of being insulting is absolutely not called for. Because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to attach a negative description to it.

Remember, it is his car and he can do what he likes to it and should not be personally ridiculed for it.

I wouldn't do that to my car, but I kinda like what he has done BECAUSE it is not my car. It is refreshing instead of the hundreds of "look at my fake chrome Z06 wheels and window tint and that's it" threads.

Please be a bit more constructive with your opinions if you are going to comment.

There is no such thing as the "right" color or anything that you do when you do it for yourself. As long as you are happy then that's all that matters.

As far as the OPINIONS about your car go.....when you post in a place like this or anytime anywhere and ask "what do you think" you are going to get JUST THAT!! What they think. If YOU don't like it you really should not blame anyone but YOURSELF for asking in the first place. People express themselves in different ways, some do it harshly and don't think of the outcome or the feelings of others. But that is what being human is all about.

If someone want's to say your car is a Crap green, you may not like it, but they expressed themselves how they knew how and they have every right to do that. And it's not up to anyone to judge wether that's right or wrong. On this board like many others, we are stripped of our right of free speech (we knew that when we registered though) otherwise you would have read a lot worse.!!

On that note, here is my .02: It looks to Militaryish, I THINK it would look better with all black wheels. The bedliner thing is silly. Appearance wise you have done a few things and adding the roll cage for stability and safety is good.

just my .02

Deadcarny

This is the best part..LOL...Even though my wife hates the idea more now that we have actually seen a car done this way, I still want to do one like this! She could not believe (when speedracer mentioned on here that he was doing this) that somebody else would like this idea. She thought I was crazy the first time I mentioned it...Ironically we were driving behind a olive drab HMMVW when I told her about it.

I had a Polo green 95 Camaro so I can appreciate the green. IMHO we have plenty of the basic color cars (Black, White, Red) so it's cool to see a brand new color on a Camaro. Most people poke fun at the color I have now but the Metallic Pewter had only been available since 98 I believe and I had yet seen one Camaro on the road in that color (the dealer had only 2). I think the black rims look better than the green ones. I complain *my* car is too loud inside and I have full interior so I can't fathom why you'd take out so much :-O. I would need the luxury on the inside :)

But I would like to see more pics of the car without any digital enhancements done. Looks like a Sharpness filter or something was applied and it makes the edges of everything in the picture look a little off.

I think i would like it if you had some more black to break up the green. Like some Z28 emblems, the door handles black, maybe some stripes or i wonder if you could even paint the trim that runs down the fender, door and qtr panel black. Some black stripes might look good to. I also think it might look good with some chrome wheels. I think i like the color i just think you need to do some different stuff to break it up. Just my opinion.

AronZ28

I will go as far as to say that has to be the 3rd worst color ever on a camaro. Only thing that can top it is Sport Gold Metallic and the gold 1970 Camaro pictured for August on the Camaro calendar. Remeber its a Camaro, not a HUMVEE with a rocket launcher.

With all the weight that you added with that stupid bed liner, you might as well as have your carpet put back instead. I can understand doing that to a Jeep or Bronco, cause you'll be getting everything all muddy going off road, but with the camaro it serves absolutely no function.

Seems like you couldn't make up your mind on the wheels :p

Everything except the wheels, bedliner, and color looks cool. The wing and hood look great. I do like the tail lights and headlights a lot. Looks like your car has eyeballs staring down and intimidating the competiton:D

man feel the love. to tell you the truth the colors okay, i think the rims should match. i know im about to get hated on for saying this. For the longest time i have been looking for a way to cover the floors in my race car(instead of just bare paint) i love the rhino liner, does it weight alot? But heres the down side on a street car i would have stayed with the carpet cause show cars and race cars cant be mixed. ones form, ones function I like function myself.

I likes the car mainly cause its a one off, everyone else got cookie cutter **** this stands out.

Nice ride. The color is pretty cool and I dig the different color rims. Sometimes you wake up and don't feel like looking at the same old thing. This way you can just switch sides depending on your mood. Both colors look sweet on those rims.

just curious on why you didnt want to go with 2 headlights on each side? maybe it was brought up but i didnt wanna skim thru all the BS in the threads of people complainin about your wheels ;) its your car go for it, but anyway back to the HIDs, what year navigator did this kit come from, i kno some have this greenish hue to them an the the newer ones have that nice blue/white look to them, how did you wire them up?

i could not fit the hid unit and the 2nd high beam lights in the same area! so i'm going to put the highs in the area where the fog lights go. i think they are off of the newer once like 2002ish
i really dont know i had a friend working for ford get them for me. when one side would **** up they would replaces both sides. i'm also going to run hids in the highs as well

as far as wiring them up it was easy just wired them to the factory wires and that was it. it was hard getting the hid blub and the hella light to like eachother. but oh well more pics to come soon
