OK i just ran all my new steel braided lines and i came down to this question. I use to run 1 line off the regulator thto the carb with one of thoes summit metal lines the Y's it. MY friend was telling me that it whould be beter to run 2 lines 1 from each side of the regulator into the car. Is this true or is he full of ****

For normal street use and an engine that makes less than 500 hp, what you did is fine.

I did this exact set-up on my 496 BBC project. It makes a bit more than 500 hp. ;)

It all depends on the fuel demands of the carb and engine. Normally it's only a 5/16" or 3/8" fuel line. I run 1/2" line to each float bowl of my carb. I have 5/8" fuel line from the fuel cell to the regulator.

But can you compare the fuel volume flow of an alcohol motor to a gasoline setup?
