K-Member and Manual Rack Install

Couple of questions..

I am going to be reinstalling my engine with the stock k-member from the bottom any day now. Any points on aligning everything? A friend of mine told me if you dont get it in straight, your car will end up driving down the road crooked. All the times I've been on this board and read abotu people installing k-members, I've never heard of anyone having this problem with the F-body. Pointers?

The manual rack I picked up has a bump-steer kit with it. Should a normal shop be able to do an alignment with these installed? I am assuming I am going to have to have the car aligned when I am done.. Right?

Thanks,

It's not rocket science and won't be a problem. There are alignment dowels on the k-member to keep you from screwing up.. Any alignment shop will be able to align the car, get it done soon.... Good luck!

Thanks Brady.. I figured it wouldn't be a big problem, but any tips are always appreciated..

I am in the moddle of putting in a manual rack and K-Member. You can't put anything in the wrong way, however, you may have fitment issues as I am.

What kind of fitment issues are we talking about here?

Sean, I am having a terible time lining up the motor mount brackets and mounts. BMR's response it to loosen everything and play with it until it goes in. One of the mounts is visusally a tad crooked. I have been working at it for a month now...
