First run against a 9 second car. Blue S10 truck. Dialed 9.69. My dial was 11.96. My car wasn't running 100% but hey dial what your car is running.

His------------------------Mine
RT .002 -----------RT .022
1/4 9.689----------------1/4 11.959
MPH 138-----------------MPH 113:

Breakouts
His .001-----------------Mine .001

His MOV .0202 (The .020 I gave him on the tree)

I though I had the stripe by a wheel, I lost it by a fender and didn't have time to hit the breaks. I am totally amazed by how fast he came by at the end of the track.

Write this one off to experience.

Dayum that one was close Jim! I got skooled by a 9.0x sec GN 2 years ago at one of the GM EFI events at E-town. I'll never forget how fast he ran past me. I break out more than I should because I never use enough break... I always picture that GN blowing by at 150;). One of these days I'll get it right.

Anyway you look at it Jim that was a good race. At those speeds there is almost no time to go for the brakes. With a 9 sec car running you down its very hard to judge where you will both be at the line. You miss judged by 2 feet at 115 mph... thats not too shabby if you ask me.

Yes. Full cage, plexi glass, huge slicks, FOR SALE sign. #T158, Brian Brown according to ATCO's roster. I went over after I loaded my car on the trailer but he wasn't in the pits with truck.
