How do I repair a leaking rack'n'pinion?
My driver side outer seal is leaking. We took off the center clamp and there was a decent amount of clumpy fluid inside.
So, is it just the outer shield I need to replace, or does that clumpy fluid underneath indicate another problem? How easy is the fix? I figure I'll get reamed at the dealer$hip.
