4.10's or 3.73?

I currently have 3.42 in my car.

I dont do very many long trips, gas mileage is still an issue.

What would you guys suggest?

Would I even notice a difference between the 3.42 and 3.73?

What about gas mileage compared to 3.73 and 4.10?

I heard Richmond gears are noisy...should I get a different brand?

Also I work in a shop with mr granpa...we have a hoist and many tools, but I have never done a gear install before....how hard is it to do????

thanks
